During the three years of the doctorate, candidates from the 38th and 39th cycles will be required to undertake the activities outlined in the attached table.
Throughout the programme, at the suggestion of their supervisors or in agreement with them, doctoral candidates may attend master's degree courses or other seminars not included in the doctoral programme's curriculum.
Requirements for Progression
- From the First to the Second Year: Submission of a paper with an external discussant during a Study Day; presentation of an annual activity report and discussion with the supervisor.
- From the Second to the Third Year: Submission of a scientific contribution related to the final thesis, as presented by the Faculty, which can be submitted for peer review for publication.
- For Completion of the Third Year: Submission of the thesis and final examination, leading to the attainment of the Doctor of Philosophy title.
