Draft of the dissertation in Italian and English;
Abstract (5,000 char in Italian and English)

5 October 2017: Public lecture (30 minutes) in Italian and English (the extension of the PhD period is not allowed, only upon request of foreign partners/co-tutorships)
6 October 2017 (final deadline): The Faculty approves the admission to the final exam; nominates two external evaluators for each thesis, two substitute evaluators and one or more commissions for the final exam; establishes two dates, one during the period from 15/04/2018 and 15/05/2018 (for the students admitted to the final discussion) and another during the period from 01/11/2018 to 30/11/2018 (in case of postponement)
13 October 2017: Application for the admission to the final exam at ARIC
December 2017
15 December 2017: Delivering of the updated Study Plans with indication of the conducted activities
15 December 2017: Delivering to the Coordinator of the final thesis (a text of at least 300,000 char. included footnotes and apparatus; if it is in Italian the thesis must include an English abstract of 5,000 char.; the graphic layout is free)
January 2018
31 January 2018: Outcome of the evaluators for the final discussion (in case of a negative judgement, the evaluators may propose to postpone the final discussion)
February 2018
15 February 2018: The Coordinator communicates to the PhD candidates the assessment of the external evaluators and to ARIC the list of the excluded, admitted and postponed PHD students
28 February 2018: Designation of the Commissions
March 2018
16 March 2018: Deadline for the submission of the final thesis
April 2018
19 April 2018: Final discussion
July 2018
31 July 2018: The PhD students, whose discussion has been postponed of six months, send their thesis to the Coordinator who invites the external evaluators
September 2018
15 September 2018: the evaluators send a new judgment about the modified thesis. The thesis is, in any case, admitted to the final discussion
30 September 2018: the Coordinator sends to ARIC the list of the excluded and admitted PHD students
October 2018
15 October 2018: final deadline for the submission of the thesi
