The course will be held by prof. Andrea Acquaviva and is part of the training provided for ET-IT PhD Students (a.y.2025/2026)
Date:
Event location: TBD - Bologna - In presence and online event
Type: ET-IT Course
ABSTRACT
The course focuses on brain-inspired methods, algorithms and hardware architectures applied to Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS). In particular, the course will focus on brain-inspired processing of sensor data, with special emphasis on neuromorphic sensors like event-based cameras. The research umbrella will be the so called neuromorphic computing, which includes Spiking Neural Networks and their efficient implementation in custom hardware platforms, both mixed-signal such as Dynaps and digital such as Intel Loihi. Finally, to Deep reinforcement learning in robotics applications will be considered as case studies.
This course is part of the ET-IT training activities for the a.y. 2025/2026.
