Facilities and Laboratories

PhD candidates have access to the following:

Workstations in dedicated Department spaces:

  • Via Zamboni 38: one room with 4 movable tables [LL1] providing 8 workstations, as well as 2 PCs and a printer;
  • Via Azzo Gardino 23: one room with tables for shared workstations and 8 PC workstations with printer.

 

Rooms for seminars and research meetings:

  • Sala Apollo, located in the Library at Via Zamboni 38, equipped with a PC workstation and projector;
  • Sala Mondolfo (Via Zamboni 38) and Sala Rossa (Via Azzo Gardino 23), both equipped with audio/video/PC systems designed to support virtual mobility activities.

 

Laboratories with equipment for the production of applications and multimedia content:

  • Wolf Laboratory (Via Azzo Gardino 23), equipped with 31 PCs with audio/video editing software installed;
  • Computer Laboratory (Via Zamboni 38), equipped with PCs, printers, scanners, and software for audio/video editing and multimedia content production.

 

Experimental laboratories:

 

The Department also provides facilities for the PhD programme’s teaching and seminar activities.
