New editorial and peer review models inspired by open science principles - 18 June 2025 2.00-4.00 pm (CET)

Speakers: Timothy Behrens e Alessio Bolognesi (eLife), Marta Arzarello (Univ. di Ferrara), Maria Chiara Pievatolo (Univ. di Pisa).
The seminar, promoted by the Italian National Chapter of the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA), will explore innovative scholarly publishing and peer review models. Looking at experiences from different disciplines — from life sciences to archaeology and political philosophy — the event aims to offer concrete insights for rethinking the current scientific editorial system in a way that fosters openness, transparency, and collaboration, also reflecting on how this clashes with the current research assessment practices. The seminar is intended for researchers, academic policy makers, and professionals involved in research communication and evaluation processes.

Registration is required. Please see the link below.
