Statistics course - Useful information
The course will include theoretical and practical lessons, with the use of the software R as a statistical/scripting environment. Each student will have to bring a personal laptop device with the software (R core, Rstudio, or alike) properly installed and available. We will provide you datasets to work with, but feel free to bring your data, issues, and questions!
There will be a short exam in the afternoon of the last lecture, where you will be asked to carry out some statistical analyses on provided datasets: in order to pass the exam it is necessary to validate the course in your career. To validate the course, all lectures have to be attended in the same year.
The course is compulsory for all STVA PhD students.
