Programme of PhD students' activities authorised by the Admission Board (meeting 30 October 2018)

Programme

Shared activities (30 hours):

- Seminars dedicated to topics of shared interest such as European projects, public speaking, Academic English etc...

- Seminars dedicated to the cycle "I Maestri": seminars held by internal and/or invited scholars, about important authors of the different fields of the PhD programme. PhD students are required to read one or more works by the chosen authors, in preparation for the seminars

- Seminars about topics of shared interest (e.g. Language teaching or Literature teaching, etc.)

Curricular activities (50 hours).

PhD students of the curricula Digital Humanities, Romance philology, Paleography and Linguistics may personalise their seminar programme, with authorisation of their supervisors; curricular activities may include Master's degree courses which, however, will be counted with a 2 to 1 ratio. (2 hours of Master's degree courses are equal to 1 hour of lesson specific for PhD students). 

Elective activities (20 hours) to be decided with supervisors. 

ANY VARIATION TO THIS PROGRAMME NEEDS TO BE AUTHORISED BY SUPERVISORS AND APPROVED BY THE ADMISSION BOARD.
