LECTURES:

The course provides an introduction to the regulation of digital markets and ICTs; it reviews EU legislative norms and initiatives in this field, such as the General Data Protection Regulation, Digital Services Act, Artificial Intelligence Act; it critically assesses regulatory principles (e.g., technology neutrality) and models (e.g., fundamental rights-based, risk-based, standardization, liability etc.).
