National Interest PhD in "Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology"! Deadline: 26 August 2022 

 

UNIBO participates in the consortium of the national interest PhD "Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology" that has the aim to train researchers to address the complex issues of these emerging technologies from the point of view of law, economics, social and environmental impacts, applications in the private and public sectors, technological innovation and security.

The consortium is made up of 22 universities and research institutions. The doctoral program proposes an offer divided into 8 different curricula, including a specific one dedicated to "Law and Governance" supervised on behalf of the Department of Legal Sciences by Prof. Monica Palmirani, who guarantees the close connection with the international doctorate in “Law, Science and Technology”.

The 2022/2023 call contains 30 scholarships divided into different areas. For the “Law, Science and Technology” curriculum:

  1. "Legal Compliance and Blockchain in the Agri-food sector", University of Macerata
  2. "Legal and Technical Analysis of Intelligible Smart Legal Contract based on Legal Reasoning in the European Regulation framework", University of Bologna
  3. "The Law and Governance of Disintermediation Business Model", University of Firenze
