PhD students need to acquire at least 1 credit in extra-curricular training.
To acquire these credits they can attend summer schools, winter schools, webinars, workshops, and other events organized by scientific associations.
Note. Extra-curricular activities also include conference participation, in the case in which the PhD students attend a conference without making a presentation. In contrast, when PhD students attend a conference and present their research (e.g., they present a poster or give an oral presentation), the activity is recognized under Dissemination.
