AESOP-YA -Young Academics Network
The Young Academics network is more than just a ‘loosely structured branch’ of young planning scholars and practitioners within AESOP. While the YA Network offers opportunities for academic flourishing through concrete activities, it also brings in a spirit of collegiality and friendship that inspires all of us. The aim of this membership Magazine is to show the many sides of the Young Academic Network.Limited financial aid is made available to assist workshop attendance, The YA allocates financial grants to a limited number of applicants on the basis of financial need.
INU Giovani - Sezione Emilia-Romagna
INU Giovani is the laboratory of the National Institute of Urbanism that promotes and enhances the ideas, projects and works of its young members. ERES PhD network
The ERES PhD network is a unique and dynamic network of PhD students from many different countries and universities with research interests in areas related to real estate, urban economics, urban planning and management, econometric modelling and analysis, regional/spatial studies and many other related fields. The main objectives of this network are manifold including fostering a community of doctoral students in real estate in Europe, creating a platform for interactions between doctoral students, increasing the quality of doctoral education through ERES activities (workshops, seminars) and many others. You can become part of the community by attending the annual conference that ERES holds every year (this year it will be from 1 to 5 July 2025 in Athens).
SIRA [Italian Society for the Restoration of Architecture] is a scientific society, founded in 2013, aimed at disseminating and deepening the culture of conservation and restoration in Italy and worldwide, with particular reference to architectural heritage and landscape.
It promotes the study and valorisation of heritage in the scientific, academic, civil and educational fields.
It is composed of university professors and researchers in the scientific disciplinary sector of Restoration [CEAR-11/B] and is open to Italian and foreign scholars and operators who are recognised as having a significant role in the field of restoration and protection of cultural and landscape heritage.
The aim of the portal is to disseminate and promote scientific initiatives in the field of conservation and architectural restoration; to illustrate the status of university research conducted also with reference to doctorates, specialisation theses, and research grants; and to collect the personal profiles of members.
The site also provides up-to-date information on teaching offerings, research projects and national and international calls for proposals, competitions and scholarships, journals, publications, conferences and workshops on the subject of architectural conservation.
