• Request for completion of personal webpage and entry of publications on IRIS platform (please note that failure to complete the entry of publications on IRIS prejudices the passage of the year).
• Development of the Study Plan.

• 15th December 2024: Delivery in written form to the Tutor, the Ph.D. Co-ordinator and the Delegate for Training Activities of the 2024-25 Study Plan:
1. Provisional title of the Thesis accompanied by an abstract (5,000 characters) in Italian and English and a provisional outline of the Thesis structure in Italian and English;
2. Supervisor, Co-supervisors, and co-tutorship with foreign locations to be formalised;
3. Summary description and timetable of the research activities to be carried out during the year for the development of the Thesis with an indication of the expected results;
4. Programme of Ph.D. visiting periods abroad with an indication of the forms of funding to be used (e.g. Marco Polo; etc.); The Ph.D. visiting period abroad of three months is mandatory, as underlined in the call for participation for each cycle;
5. List of mandatory training activities and of cross-cutting activities chosen between those proposed by the Ph.D. Collegium and others, in Italy or abroad, agreed with the Supervisor and approved by the Collegium (the list of activities may be updated by the doctoral student during the year);
6. Research dissemination programme (at least 1 publication planned - programme may be updated during the year).
• Deadline to be defined according to the indications of the Ph.D. Office: Delivery in writing to the Supervisor and Ph.D. Co-ordinator of the progress for passage of the year:
1. Provisional Thesis outline;
2. Summary of the research – in italian or in english – of at least 40.000 characters, including notes and appliances;
3. Abstract - in italian and in english - of 5.000 characters;
4. Deadline to be defined based on the guidelines provided by the Ph.D. Office;
5. Update of the personal webpage and entry of the scientific publications on IRIS platform (please note that failure to complete the entry of publications on IRIS prejudices the passage of the year).
