Projects 40th cycle

Research projects for 40th cycle PhD students.

Research topics included in the 40th cycle call

The PhD in Public Governance Management and Policy offers fully funded doctoral scholarships for the 40th cycle in two distinct calls: a call open between mid-May and mid-June (including 7 fully funded scholarships - not linked to the PNRR) and an open call between the beginning of July and the beginning of August (deadlines to be published soon) for positions financed by the PNRR (DM 629, DM 630).

The selection process for the first call will end shortly before the second call: in case you were not selected with the selection of the first call and you are still interested, make sure to apply again for the second call!

Each scholarship is linked to a theme, which guides the choice of the supervisor/main supervisor within a specific department among the departments contributing for the PhD program. Different topics are naturally linked to thesis supervisors belonging to a specific Department (Department of Political and Social Sciences, Department of Economic Sciences, Department of Business Sciences, Department of Statistical Sciences "Paolo Fortunati").

Selected candidates will be assigned a specific research topic - within the topic of the scholarship - and a keynote speaker/supervisor by the Faculty Board and will be affiliated with the supervisor's department Department. Co-supervisors can be affiliated with different Departments of the University of Bologna and/or can affiliate with different national and international institutions.
