From 2023, ANVUR's AVA 3 Periodic accreditation model introduced the quality requirements for the evaluation of PhD Programs in coherence with DM 226/20211 and with what ENQA (European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) requested from ANVUR itself. Regarding the design, planning, organization, monitoring and improvement stage of training and research activities, ANVUR assigns a fundamental importance to the dialogue with stakeholders. I.e., with all those internal or external stakeholders who can add value to the PhD Programs themselves as they are aimed at investigating the potential for development and updating of the training and research project, with reference to the cultural and scientific evolution of the reference areas. It is therefore essential to create moments of stable and constant comparison over time, including through the creation of specifically constituted groups.
To do so, ANVUR promotes the creation of an Advisory Committee (Board of Advisors) that plays a role of opinion and direction regarding the training and research project of PhD Programs. The Advisory Committee has a term of 3 years and is appointed by the Academini Board.
