Doctoral Credits (DC) measure the workload required of the PhD student in research and training activities for the doctoral degree. For research training, DC is equivalent to European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credit. The Ph.D. student must achieve 60 DCs per year, corresponding to 1,500 hours of activity; each DC is worth 25 hours of the Ph.D. student's commitment (including both frontal teaching and self-study).
For the PhD Program in Veterinary Sciences, the total amount of 180 DCs is divided between 70% research activities and 30% research training activities (Table A).
The Doctoral Credits obtained in the 3 years will be reported in the Diploma Supplement.
