Program / Content

This intensive course of 3 credit is held by two experts from the social network analysis models: Dr. Alberto Caimo and Dr. Isabella Gollini, which alternate theoretical models to practical moments through the use of the software R. In particular, the course will illustrate the following topics:

  • Exponential Models of random graphs and latent variable
  • MCMC simulation of random graphs and parameter estimation
  • Diagnostic techniques for evaluating the goodness of fit of the models
  • R Software for network analysis (statnet)
