Vinod Joseph Kannankeril

Vinod Joseph is a PhD student at the Department of Statistics, University of Bologna and the Laboratory of Digital and Computational Demography at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (MPIDR) in Germany. His research focuses on assessing the impact of climate change on demographic behavior. Prior to joining Unibo, Vinod was a senior research fellow at the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai. He received his Master's and MPhil in Biostatistics and Demography from IIPS, Mumbai and his Bachelor's in Computer Applications from Sacred Heart College, Kochi. Vinod's research interests lie in the areas of population and environment, formal demography and population ageing.
