Courses
First-year, second-year and third-year PhD students are required to take a specific compulsory course for a total amount of 30 hours.
First-year and second-year PhD students are required to take a course chosen among those taught in the Master’s degree programme related to their disciplinary field for a total amount of 30 hours.
Third-year PhD students are required to take a course chosen among those taught in the Master’s degree programme related to their disciplinary field, or, alternatively, seminars specific to their disciplinary field, for a total amount of 30 hours.
Seminars
First-year and second-year PhD students are required to take seminars specific to their disciplinary field for a total amount of 60 hours.
Third-year PhD students are required to take seminars specific to their disciplinary field, or alternatively, a course chosen among those taught in the Master’s degree programme related to their disciplinary field, for a total amount of 30 hours.
For each Academic Year, the PhD faculty sets a plan of seminars for each disciplinary field (Visual Arts, Cinema, Theatre, Music). At the end of each year, PhD students must indicate in their report which seminars they have followed and the research activity they carried out.
