Mobility abroad

Each PhD Student dedicates at least a month to activity abroad.
As illustrated by article 5, para. 10, lett. h. of the University Rules regarding PhD courses, all PhD students – both with or without a bursary – who intend to carry out part of their research outside the University of Bologna, both in Italy or abroad, must receive an authorization by the Academic Board, regardless of the duration of the stay (even in the case of a single day, as it happens for conferences) and of a possible request of a reimbursement of expenses. This is due to insurance reasons and to facilitate the planning of didactic and research activities.

In order to make the procedure easier, on 13/3/2017 the Academic Board has given the Coordinator the power to grant such authorizations, which will then be approved by the Board during the first possible meeting and attached to the minutes.
