Research expenses: how to apply for funding (budget 10%)

You can apply for a budget of at least 10% of the total amount of the PhD scholarship made available by your department, regardless of whether you are a scholarship holder or not. This funding is intended to cover research-related expenses in Italy and abroad, for periods of up to 30 days.

Students receiving scholarships or funding from international mobility programs such as CSC, MSCA, or foreign institutions are not eligible for this funding. All expenses must be approved and agreed upon according to the procedures established by the Department.

The Supervisor acts as the person responsible for budget 10% use. Following standard administrative procedures, the Supervisor will validate and authorize the agreed expenses.

· priority is given to training-related expenses such as registration fees for conferences, symposiums, summer schools, winter schools, and workshops;

· research trips in Italy or abroad lasting less than 30 days;

· laboratory consumables;

· scientific and technical equipment;

· publication costs;

· purchase of bibliographic materials.
