Call for applications to increase awareness on flood risk in Emilia-Romagna

The project, jointly promoted by the DICAM (Civil, Chemical, Environmental, and Materials Engineering), EDU ("Giovanni Maria Bertin" Education Sciences), and SDE (Sociology and Law of the Economy) departments, aims to foster widespread, scientifically grounded awareness of flood risk in Emilia-Romagna, thereby strengthening a culture of prevention, self-protection, and shared responsibility. The selected students (up to a maximum of 10) will form an interdisciplinary group capable of communicating flood risk issues in an effective and engaging manner. Activities are scheduled to begin around November 2026 and conclude by the end of September 2027, comprising a total of 40 hours, 14 of which will be dedicated to training.

Congratulations to Mariafederica Parisi on being awarded a "Premio PhD Bologna 2026"

Five scholarships of €2,000 each have been awarded to recognize doctoral theses from the University that focus on projects of significance to the Bologna community and local area. The recipients are Elisa Bruni, Elena Chiti, Pietro Drei, Mariafederica Parisi, and Matteo Zauli.
