Doctoral credits (DCs) represent a measure of the workload required to complete the training and research activities in the PhD programme.
The PhD programme requires the acquisition of a total of 180 DCs, divided as follows:
The DCs from research activities are automatically validated upon successful year progression and upon admission to the final examination at the end of the third year.
The DCs from research and teaching training activities are awarded based on the training, teaching, and dissemination activities carried out, according to the information provided in point 8 of the ET-IT programme (available in the highlights box). You can request their validation through Dottorandi by following the instructions in the Operating Manual (also available in the highlights box).
To support PhD students in meeting the required Doctoral Credits, the PhD Board requires the completion of a Study Plan, which must be agreed upon and signed by the supervisor.
