Patrimonio culturale e naturale tra locale e globale: testi, contesti, e discorsi
Il curriculum DESE forma in un’ottica sovranazionale, inserendoli in un quadro fortemente internazionale grazie a convenzioni con istituzioni straniere, specialisti che padroneggiano la mappa dei topoi che hanno caratterizzato la tradizione europea dal Medioevo alla contemporaneità, e che sono in grado di confrontarsi in più lingue con differenti metodi di analisi. Il progetto di ricerca e la tesi, che prenderanno in esame almeno tre letterature europee di cui sarà necessario conoscere la lingua, nel 40° ciclo dovranno rientrare nella tematica del patrimonio culturale dal Medioevo europeo ai giorni nostri e in particolare ci si dovrà soffermare sul ruolo e destino di archivi (manoscritti, corrispondenze, etc.) o biblioteche pubbliche e private (patrimonio librario, collezioni di riviste e periodici, etc.).
La lingua veicolare del dottorato è il francese, la cui conoscenza è obbligatoria, quali che siano le tre letterature di specializzazione; le lingue di redazione della tesi sono il francese o l’inglese; la discussione finale dovrà essere svolta nelle lingue che il candidato è tenuto a conoscere.
Cultural and natural heritage between local and global: texts, contexts, and discourses
DESE is a PhD curriculum training young researchers (specialists) who will master the map of the literary topoi characterizing the European tradition from the Middle Ages to the present, and will be able to engage with different methods of analysis in several languages. The approach is supernational and students will be integrated in an international research environment benefiting from agreements with foreign academic institutions. The research project and the thesis will include at least three European literatures whose language the candidates are supposed to master and for the 40th cycle proposals will have to focus on the role and destiny of archives (manuscripts, correspondences etc.) or public and private libraries (book heritage, collections of magazines and periodicals, etc.).
The official language of the programme is French, whose knowledge is compulsory, irrespective of the literatures chosen for the dissertation project. The thesis may be written either in French or English; the final discussion must be carried out in the languages that the candidate is required to know.
