Giuseppe Torluccio is a Professor of Financial Markets and Institutions at the University of Bologna, Director of Yunus Social Business Center, Vice-president of the Grameen Italian Foundation, and member of the Scientific Committee of the University of Bologna “School of Excellence.” Research interests include theoretical and empirical issues in the economics of banking, credit risk models, internal ratings and Basel III, risk management, derivatives, debt instruments, relationship banking, SMEs' financing, innovation financing, R&D, treasury management, corporate governance in banking, FinTech, microfinance, and social business.
