SIE - Italian Society of Aesthetics Award, of the 2025 edition, for category 2c, "Doctoral Thesis in Aesthetics, or with an aesthetic character, discussed in Italy"

Congratulations to Francesco Di Maio, PhD in Architecture and Design Cultures (36th cycle) and currently Research Fellow at the Department of Architecture, for the prize awarded by the Italian Society of Aesthetics (SIE) on 28 May 2025 for his Doctoral Thesis entitled:
"Saturation and Surplus: The Problem of Space in Schellingian Aesthetics and Naturphilosophy".
The Doctoral Thesis was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Andrea Borsari, with the international co-authoring of Prof. Denis Thouard of the école doctorale Droit, études politiques, philosophie (DEPP) of the École des hautes études en sciences sociales in Paris (EHESS). The thesis was discussed in Bologna on 28 June 2024.
