Embedded software development for engineering applications

The course is structured into 8 hours of frontal and laboratory lessons. In the first part (frontal lesson), the Model-Based Design method will be presented from a theoretical standpoint. An application example related to the dronization process of a civil helicopter will be discussed. In the second part (laboratory lesson), a practical example will be presented, related to the design of control systems for unmanned rotary-wing platforms, where the teachers will perform code deployment into an embedded computer for subsequent Processor-In-the Loop testing. At the end of the course, a small project is assigned to the students, which serves as a final assessment.
