Human Factors Engineering and Ergonomics

The course is taught by specialists in Work and Organizational Psychology, covering a fundamental topic: how the monitoring systems we design can fail due to human errors and how to minimize these risks.
In particular, Human Reliability Assessment methods will be discussed with a general overview of methods and approaches and an in-depth look at some related aspects (task analysis, human error detection and prevention, ironies of automation, etc.).
