Grants

All admitted candidates will receive a financial support package which includes a gross grant of approximately 16.243 Euros (yearly) to cover living expenses during the 3 years of the degree. On top of this, PhD candidates will receive up to 1.624,30 Euros yearly, to cover research expenses as well as an increment of 50% of the yearly grant if they spend a minimum 1 (one) to 12 (twelve) months visiting period at abroad. For the the 38^th cycle the University of Bologna PhD program in "Global Histories, Cultures and Politics" offers up to 7 fully funded grants.

Those willing to apply for competitive projects funded by foreing governments (Becas Chile, Becas Paraguay, CAPES CNpQ or CONFAP Brasil, China Scholarship Council ecc.) could benefit of additional vacancies.
