Ph.D. Board
The Ph.D. Board plans and manages the Ph.D. Programme: it is responsible for the scientific and educational activities within the doctoral course, by defining the assessment criteria of the admission exam to the course, planning the training and research activities, evaluating the work done and the results produced by the Doctoral students.

PhD Programme Director - Full Professor
Full Professor of Aerodynamics at the University of Bologna, he has been Director of the Interdepartmental Center for Aerospace Industrial Research from 2013 to 2019. Coordinator of the CICLoPE project (Center for International Cooperation in Long Pipe Experiments) in Predappio where he promoted the construction of a large international infrastructure for the study of turbulence and for which in April 2016 he received honorary citizenship. Since 2003 Guest Professor at the Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm (KTH). He is author of more than 130 publications in journals and international conference proceedings. Passionate triathlete, IronMan in Kalmar (Sweden) in 2016 and Cervia (Italy) in 2017 and 2019.
