For the research activity, PhD students can make use of operational and scientific structures, such as Equipment and/or Laboratories, institutional databases present in the Institutes included in the PhD in Surgical Sciences, in compliance with privacy regulations and the processing of personal data.
PhD students can carry out the research activity using the book heritage of the Interdepartmental Library of Medicine and the University Library System, and the databases of international scientific publications (PubMed, Scopus, WOS).
The Interdepartmental Library of Medicine is constituted by the Federation of Clinical Biomedicine Libraries "Bianchi," 2 of the libraries and book funds of the Department of Specialistic, Diagnostic and Experimental Medicine (DIMES), the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences (DIMEC) and the Department of Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences (DIBINEM).
The Library System is the University structure responsible for the coordination of libraries, book funds and bibliographic and documentary services, and includes IBooks, electronic periodicals, databases, dictionaries and online encyclopedias, AMS Campus teaching materials, AMS ACTA, AMS Thesis, AMS Doctoral Thesis, etc.
