The PhD in Surgical Sciences, lasting a total of three years, is the third level of university education and represents the start of a path aimed at acquiring skills related to basic, clinical and applied research.
The title of PhD in Surgical Sciences, obtained at the end of the course, is in fact aimed at allowing the methodological mastery of the different techniques of study and investigation, connected to the branch chosen by the student and intrinsic to the three-year project.
The training program of the Doctorate in Surgical Sciences provides for a close integration between research activities, laboratory and / or surgical activities, seminar work and possibly assistance.
The training objectives are aimed at obtaining for PhD students the acquisition of a know-how that will allow them to carry out a highly qualified research activity, with the maturation of basic research skills aimed at providing answers to the clinical world and professionalizing curricula suitable for perfecting their clinical practice in the medical-surgical field.
