CHINA SCOLARSHIP COUNCIL (CSC)
The STAAA PhD programme is glad to welcome applications by candidates with Chinese citizenship interested in CSC scholarships and planning to apply to the University of Bologna. The University of Bologna and the China Scholarship Council signed a Cooperation Agreement promoting the enrolment of excellent Chinese graduates also in STAAA Programme.
Deadline for applications for the 2024-2025 a.y. is expired (15th January 2024).
Currently, the following 10 PhD students with CSC scolarship are enrolled in our PhD programme:

In order to get the pre-acceptance letter from UNIBO, Chinese applicants must submit the following documents:
- Copy of a valid Passport or ID with photo with translation in Italian or English
- CV and academic background
- Degrees and translation into English
- Research project
- language proficiency certificates

In compliance with the provisions set forth in the Cooperation Agreement, the selection is a two-fold process: a pre-selection at UNIBO and a further selection at CSC.
The first step will be carried out exclusively online and is aimed at selecting applicants willing to enrol in a PhD Programme in Bologna.
At a later stage, preselected applicants will then have to apply to CSC call on the CSC website, according to the deadlines mentioned there, for the prospective awarding of a scholarship.
