WORKING WHILE ATTENDING THE Ph.D.

The PhD is an exclusive and full-time task. However, it may be possible to carry out some extra activities, with the follwing conditions:

• They do not interfere with the planned PhD activities.
• They are agreed upon with the supervisor.

Some examples of activies may be:

• practical and professional internship
• tutoring and teaching assistance activity not envisaged in the PhD programme
• other occasional paid work

PROCEDURE

Before the beginning of the activities, the PhD students must fill in the appropriate form accessible from the PhD students application (“Dottorandi”) for examination by the supervisor and approval by the Board or by the Coordinator, specifically delegated for this purpose by the Board.

Please note: if the activity for which authorization is requested spans multiple academic years, a new request must be submitted at the beginning of each academic year.
